It’s Been Quiet… Because I’ve Been Busy

You know the phrase, ‘time flies when you’re having fun’? The first part is true, time flies.

After trying to get some good traction on the website and blogging, book reviews, stories, the middle of January hit and I got sick. Nothing too terrible, simply a cough that wouldn’t go away. This lingered into the middle of February while work didn’t stop. It only got more busy. Me, being mortal and only having so many hours to my day, jettisoned what I had to as other bits took over and, unfortunately, this blog and website suffered.

Not to fear! I am back. And with huge news! The other reason I’ve been quiet is because I’ve been busy. Publishing a book! Deep Blue has been formatted, submitted, confirmed, and is up for sale. Ebook, paperback, and hardcover editions for now. Audiobook to come soon, estimated date of sometime this summer. Please, go check it out! Review it! Tell me what you think.

Secondarily, I have spent a few more hours (a few more than a few) working to polish this website. Polish it from the half-strung up version that I launched with in the attempt to try even if I wasn’t ready, to a more passible version now. I’ve been learning a bit of HTML and CSS code along this endeavor (I prefer to know what I’m doing, really dig into what I’m doing). We will keep improving, but for now, we have our banner add for Deep Blue, an email subscriber field, and a way to contact me. Calling it version 0.6. Please, if you want notifications on when these blogs go out, add your email to the subscriber list.

Note, if you can’t see the following described, refresh your cache. And if anything is broken, reach out and let me know. I can’t say I’ll fix it right away, but I’ll at least be able to add it to my list of ‘things to do’… Oh, the ‘things to do’ list never gets shorter, only is replaced by more things when the previous few are crossed out. A good problem. That’s all I have for everyone this Sunday afternoon. We’ll move into marketing Deep Blue, telling as many of the world about it, and working to publish my second novel. More about that in a few months.
